Stamps … Who Needs Them?  Collecting the Non-Stamped Postal History of Botswana. (June 2023). This presentation was given as part of a panel discussion of “Unusual Collecting” given as part of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada Stamps Panels.  This presentation explains my interest in Botswana Meter Marks Official Free Marks, Government Printed Envelopes, Registration Labels and Permit Mail and provides a quick overview of the typologies and accessioning system I have developed to keep track of the items I have in my collection.  I shared the panel with Mark Berner who presented on the “Fiscal History of the Third Bill Stamp Era in Nova Scotia (1868-1882) , and Jane Sodero who presented on Stamp Paraphernalia: A Smattering of Stamp and Post Office Related Items.
